Thai City
About This Spot
Stepping into Thai City, you’re welcomed by a quiet, unassuming space where the focus gently settles on the flavors and simplicity of each meal. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where the rhythm is calm and attentive—never rushed, yet never stagnant. The soft quietude invites conversation and discovery at the table, allowing each subtle ingredient and thoughtful preparation to come alive.
This restaurant carries the warmth of familiar Asian kitchens, blending Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese influences into dishes thoughtfully crafted with care. The experience here is rooted in balance—a harmony of spice and subtlety, where a rich green curry or tangy papaya salad can hold your attention alongside comfort dishes like well-prepared fried rice and fresh, vibrant spring rolls. Every bite invites a sense of exploration, a quiet journey through comfort and refreshment that lingers beyond the last forkful.
The service enhances that feeling, with attentive staff eager to ensure each dish fits personal tastes and dietary needs. Their willingness to engage with guests over questions about ingredients shows a genuine care, a human touch that carries through the dining experience. It’s not just about the food but about feeling understood and welcomed.
While the space itself leans toward simplicity rather than spectacle, the meals invite you to slow down and savor—whether it’s a spicy special that gently warms the senses or something milder that comforts and grounds. Thai City is a gentle reminder that sometimes the most meaningful dining experiences come from places that prioritize authenticity, quiet care, and thoughtful flavor over noise and flash.

Wait staff is super nice and knowledgeable. When they didn’t know if the spring rolls had egg, they asked the kitchen and I could hear the lady reading the wrapper packaging to him. That made me feel better about eating here with my food allergies. The waiter brought us every sauce they had. Since they serve Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese food, it was everything. Their homemade chili vinegar was quite good. I got the angel hair pasta from the Thai menu. The waiter didn’t ask for what spice level and it came pretty bland but the chili vinegar and lite soy sauce made it better. It’s pretty Americanized but the meat was tasty and the veggies were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the chicken pho. The broth was a little sweet for me but he liked it. It had a good basil flavor. Overall, it’s Americanized Asian food but we’d stop again if we come this way again on the service alone.

My wife and I did enjoy the food, but the atmosphere needed something more than just silence throughout the restaurant. The service was really great, as I said that the food quality was good. The reason that I say it's good because they needed to dress up the plate and or give it a bit more flavor to the fried rice. It seems that it was regular rice cooked with soy sauce and a dash of teriyaki. There was no other ingredients that would normally is found in fried rice to make the taste different than just rice. I had the broccoli beef, my wife had the pineapple beef. The egg rolls were very tasty especially with soy sauce or s&s sauce. Our waitstaff was right on point. Next time a different plate will be ordered and see if there is a difference in taste, presentation, or ingredients for the flavor. I do recommend this place for good Asian cuisine.

Hadn't been here in a couple of years. Food was still good and the service was excellent.

One of my favorite Thai places anywhere. The food is delicious and authentic. There are so many great dishes but I always order the Noi Special, extra spicy! If you don’t like spice, the banker’s special is also a solid option! 10/10 recommend!
